Contribution Information for Federal Public Office Holders

We’re glad you’re planning to join us at Wellington Advocacy’s reception at The Rooftop during Stampede on July 6, 2026.

Because a number of our guests are federal designated public office holders, we want to be transparent about how we’re handling the event under the Lobbyists’ Code of Conduct. The Code allows us to offer hospitality to officials up to a low-value limit of $40 per person for food and beverage, and our per-person cost of this reception is higher than that.

So that your attendance stays within the rules, we are asking each public office holder to contribute $30 toward the cost. That covers the difference between our per-person cost and the $40 low-value limit, which keeps the hospitality we provide within what the Code permits.
